Woodside OKHA Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) upgrade 2017/2018

Hero Engineering worked closely with Woodside and Siemens Perth on planning, implementation and testing of the OKHA Siemens PCS7 Integrated Control and Safety System (ICSS), Compressor Control and Boiler Control Systems offshore. The upgrade involved removal of all hazards from the Topside and Marine operations together with identifying the necessary measures required to safely remove the Safety System , Fire and Gas System and Main Control System coverage during the cut-over process. The ICSS version cut-over was performed in less than an hour due to meticulous migration planning and pre-work, including a 100% FAT on staged simulation systems.
