Philip has over 25 years experience in Control and Instrumentation engineering covering management, concept, design, implementation and training in Australia and Asia. He has extensive operations and project experience in Mining, Refining and Smelting, Oil and Gas and Chemicals. Philip’s career began with RioTinto which included working across Australia in a number of resource operations and completing major resource development projects.

Following RioTinto, Philip held lead engineering and management roles in EPC’s and engineering contracting firms providing C&I project solutions to a wide range of industries. Most recently, he was National Manager Engineering Operations of a high-end multinational technology provider. This role saw him responsible for coordinating the control systems and instrumentation engineering of concurrent resource development projects with an aggregated project CAPEX of $4B.

Philip is responsible for the overall development of Hero with focus on project procurement, conceptual design, technology evaluation and leading Hero’s innovation.

Moy Todkill
Operations Director

Moy has over 15 years experience in business evaluation and development, across a range of equity ventures with direct involvement in resource development feasibilities. She started her career as a management consultant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers, completing feasibility studies for South East Asian governments and manufacturing companies.

Moy’s interests and expertise have been utilised in developing financial models for Thai Metal Industries and the Thai Southern Seaboard development project. Over the last 5 years Moy has owned and developed successful customer orientated retail businesses in the WA market. Moy takes an active role in the marketing and operations of Hero and maintains strong business links to SE Asia.
