Hero Engineering is an innovative solutions provider with focus on electrical, control systems, data communications and instrumentation for today’s process industries. The name Hero originates from ‘Hero of Alexandria’ an engineer and mathematician accredited for his innovations in developing and applying feedback control systems. Hero of Alexandria’s ‘golden age’ of engineering saw the development of numerous solutions for everyday problems culminating with the invention of the steam turbine.

The formation of Hero Engineering strives to address a gap in the control and instrument engineering market between the large EPCs and multinational technology providers. This niche approach commenced formally in 1995 with Hero Engineering’s parent company - Controls and Interface Engineering Pty Ltd providing solutions expertise to a range of well known engineering contracting and resource companies.
